A Western Rose Motel is just 10 blocks from the Buffalo Bill Historical Center (Buffalo Bill Museum, Cody Firearms Museum, Draper Natural History Museum, Whitney Western Art Museum, Plains Indian Museum, McCracken Research Library) ALL which have Smithsonian quality exhibits and an extensive collection of American firearms. Hours are from 8AM-6PM. Passes are good for 2 days. Allow a minimum 4 hours.

Tour or self guided for Wild Mustang viewing as well.

Rodeo is important in the culture in Cody, which calls itself the “Rodeo Capital of the World”. The Cody Nite Rodeo is an amateur rodeo every night from June 1 through August 31 at 8PM. Tickets are available at the Rodeo or they can be purchased in advance, although usually not necessary unless during the 4th of July.
